Recent Wine Show Awards

27-Sep-2011 Ongoing Wine Show Awards continue to underline the quality of the wines being produced by Trandari. Following on from the show success of the 2008 vintage, the 2009 Trandari Nebbiolo has been awarded Silver Medals at both the 2010 Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show (AAVWS) and the 2011 Winewise Small Vigneron Awards. Judges at the AAVWS describing the 2009 Trandari Nebbiolo as a “Pretty smart wine. Cherry- like nose balanced, elegant tannins and bright acid balance”. 

The first vintage of Trandari Shiraz has also recently been released and well received. The Hilltops region is rapidly developing a strong reputation for the production of high quality Shiraz, and the 2009 Trandari Shiraz with its soft rich palate and spicy notes exhibits many of the classic cool climate features which are now becoming synonymous with Shiraz wines from this region. Awarded a Bronze Medal at the 2011 Winewise Small Vigneron Awards.
